This Hugo Cocktail is a refreshing summer drink that only requires 6 simple ingredients: Prosecco, sparkling water, elderflower syrup, lime, mint leaves, and ice cubes.
About this Recipe
The weather has been A-M-A-Z-I-N-G over the past few days and we’ve spent most of the time outside having drinks after work. Usually, I love drinking red wine but it’s just too hot right now (I’m not complaining!) so I had to switch to a more refreshing alternative.
Ingredients for a Hugo Cocktail
You will only need 6 super simple ingredients: Prosecco, sparkling water, elderflower syrup, lime, mint leaves, and ice cubes. That’s it. By the way, depending on your preference, you can easily adjust the sweetness by increasing/decreasing the amount of elderflower syrup (just saying!).
How to make a Hugo Cocktail
It couldn’t be easier. Simply (1) combine all ingredients, and (2) stir well. Tataaa!
How to serve a Hugo Cocktail
Well, I suggest serving it on ANY hot summer day (it’s very popular in Europe during the summer months!). Seriously, put it on your list for the next party, girls’ night etc. It’s a definite crowd-pleaser (promise!). Enjoy!
