The Quilted Make-Up Bag by The New Craft House is a very simple sewing project that only takes a little more than two hours from start to finish (skill level: beginner).

About this Sewing Project
A while ago I ordered the kit for the Quilted Make-Up Bag by The New Craft House. I got the limited (Christmas) edition that came with silk velvet fabric instead of the standard printed cotton fabric. All the materials to make the Quilted Make-Up Bag were included in the kit (fabric, batting, lining, thread, zip, instruction booklet) and I only needed my sewing machine, pins, and scissors. Have I mentioned that I LOVE SEWING KITS!? I order them all the time since it saves me a trip to the fabric store (yay!).
This Quilted Make-Up Bag (finished dimensions: 23 cm wide x 15 cm tall) was a very simple sewing project and it only took me a little more than two hours from start to finish. I still prefer sewing clothes but it was fun to have a quick project for a change. And yes, this would be suitable for beginners since you only need basic sewing skills. Happy Sewing!
